Since 2013, the Fund for Social and Democratic Initiatives (FOSDI) has been cooperating with competent institutions and civil society organizations on the implementation program of the National Action Plan (NAP 1 and 2) for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 – Women, peace, security.
In 2018, we implemented a project dedicated to the institutional improvement of the implementation of the second NAP, from 201 to 2020, with the special goal that the project outcomes contribute to the creation and development of local plans and to the improvement of the work and functioning of gender mechanisms, such as special advisors for gender equality and trusted persons, both in competent ministries and other institutions, as well as in local self-governments and communities. During the realization of the project, starting with the recording of a documentary film-interview with the important actors of this process, through the realization of focus groups in Čačak, Užice and Zrenjanin, and until the final event, the conference held on 28 November 2018 in Belgrade, the KRENI NAPRED project improved the consultative process,
